Faculty Position in Chemical & Environmental Engineering

The Department of Chemical & Environmental Engineering at Yale University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The search is focused on individuals demonstrating outstanding potential, and with research interests at the interface of chemical and environmental engineering, including (but not limited to) alternative/renewable energy and green/sustainable chemistry/materials/engineering/infrastructure. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a creative and dynamic externally-funded research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemical and/or environmental engineering, and advise graduate students. Faculty Position in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science - Specialization in Materials Science (Hard or Soft Matter)

Yale University’s Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science invites applications from qualified individuals for a faculty position with a specialization in materials science (hard or soft matter). Subfields of interest include fabrication and/or characterization of novel materials/nanomaterials and devices based on such materials and other novel research directions that fit into the above-mentioned broad area. Senior Faculty Position in School of Engineering & Applied Science at Yale University

Yale University’s School of Engineering & Applied Science invites applications from qualified individuals for a senior faculty position at the full professor level in the area of operations research as applied to problems in health and/or environment, energy, and sustainability.  Research grounded in mathematical modeling methods such as optimization, stochastic processes and/or simulation, dynamic systems theory, or other operations research methodologies is strongly  preferred.  Primary appointment will be in one the four departments within Yale’s School of Engineering & Applied Science with additional associations, as appropriate, with Yale’s School of Management.
